I still am a bit sceptic about the whole Blog concept. Exposing your life to any eye on the net is definitively a little weird. Though, after constant begging of my brother, who happens to have worked in MSN Spaces, I decided to try it out. Is good that only my Messenger Contacts can read this, but anyway. I am half way through my master degree, working late hours in the lab on my thesis. I've also finished one paper on hydrodesulfurization of gasoil, which I shall submit for a congress soon. My plans are to leave for Germany after I get my master degree next May. Germany holds the greatest developments on my research area, and even though it is not my ultimate intention to work as a researcher, I know that going to Germany will be a priceless experience.

Right now, starting 2005, I am grateful and also anxious. I'm glad my brother is back, though I know he will leave again. I am anxious about the multiple changes that will take place throughout this year. I have never lived alone and I will for the first time. I have never really left my country, and I will this year.

Anyway, enough for the public introspection. Have a great 2005.
